How to Optimize Your Blog?

Once you’ve got the blog up and running, the next thing to do is to start optimizing your posts for the search engines. Optimized Blog accomplish three things:
  1. They’re easy for the search engines to read
  2. They’re easy for the target audience to find
  3. They’re easy for people to read

Everything you do to optimize a post is based around those three basic concepts. So with that in mind, here are simple tips you can do to optimize your website or blog posts for the search engines. Mainly a web page divide into Head Section and Body Section.You have to optimize both these section separately. For that, you have to do several optimization.

 

Title Optimization 


The Title Optimization is the important part of  blog optimization. The Head Title should contain minimum 40 characters and maximum 70 characters. Normally for good quality, you should have to use character range between 55 to 65,The pixel width can be used in the head title is 512. The pixel width of entire title depends upon the pixel width of each characters used. If head title is not present then google shows H1. In a blog you can use titles and subtitles also. The H1 is the main title of the body. It should contain two or more keyword from head title.Using the same Head Title is not good. In a page,use only one H1 and H2. 

 

Meta Description Optimization  


The Meta Description contains small description about the page that you are created. The Focused keyword should present only one time. The capacity of characters is between 155 to 165. If it is a web page, the capacity limited by 160, for a blog less than 155. The meta Description area is known as Snippet. 

 

Anchor Text Optimization

 
Anchor text is a hyperlinked text which is crawled by google bot. It is reference to other links. Do not use focused keyword as anchor text.Only use related Keyword.

 

Image Optimization

 
There are mainly three types of identities for a image
  1. Alternate Text
  2. Image File Name
  3. Content around the Image
The file name of the image should not contains any space. Use hyphens or underscore. For adding identity for a image.you should use the syntax 'alt="image id"'.

 

Authorization Optimization


For authorization optimization create posts on others blogs as a guest. It increase the ranking or trust value of your blog. Linking  to the other links of authorized person.

How to Submit the URL of a Blog into Bing Webmaster Tools

Like any other Webmaster tools, you need to create a Free account or you can use your existing Windows live ID to login to your Webmaster account. Once you are signed up and created your account, first step is to add your Website and verify. Once you have submitted your Website, you need to add details related to site and ownership like sitemap link, Website owner details and so on. If you have not created your blog sitemap yet, you can easily create using Google XML sitemap plugin and add your sitemap link in the Site info page.  Verification Providing your sitemap link will help Bing bots to deep crawl and index more pages on your site.
